Wittenberg Institute provides a unique educational opportunity among Lutheran seminaries. As an independent school it provides it’s students with instruction from top Lutheran scholars from various traditions, examining topics from every side within a faithful and Lutheran context.

My M.Div. classes are personal, interactive and acidemically rigerous. They have afforded me the chance to study under theologians who I knew previously from their writings, but now am able to discuss, debate and ask the questions that are necessary to really take ownership of the subject matter.

The level of instruction combined with the class size and tutorial teaching style at Witttenberg Institute put it in a league of its own. Tuition also seemed like an innsurmountable hurdle when selecting a seminary. I am a Husband and Father of three young children of whom I am the sole provider. I truely count it a gift from God that I found a place where I could recieve the kind of education that is necessary to excel in ministry and to find it with tuition rates that would not saddle my family with enormous debt for years to come.

I suppose all of this sounds a bit too much like an advertisement, truthfully I hope it serves as such. I was only asked if I would like to write a few sentences, but I would not want this opportunity to pass without telling you how much good is being done here. I encourage anyone who feels called into ministry to strongly consider Wittenberg Institute. And for those with the means to support with their dollars, please make giving to this wonderful seminary a priority. Wittenberg Institute has been life changing for me and many others and will be for you as well.
