Clergy Event – “Confessio Augustana”

Friday June 25th from 10:00 am to Noon
Cost $5 to cover lunch

The Lutherans who signed the Augsburg Confession were intent on making clear that what they stood for was nothing more, nor certainly anything less, than the ancient faith of the church. Join us on June 25, 2010 as we discuss how far we have strayed and how church leaders need to revert back to the basic truths that founded the Lutheran Church. This event is for pastors, seminary students and church leaders.

Lay Event – “What is the Augsburg Confession?”

Monday June 28th
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Refreshments to follow

What is the Augsburg Confession? What does it say about the Scriptures, Christ, justification and the church? How does my understanding of the Augsburg Confession change the way I worship? Find answers to these questions and more with Dr. Jiim Nestingen and Dr. Rod Rosenbladt. A free will offering will be taken to go towards theological education at Wittenberg Institute, an independent Lutheran Theological Graduate School.

Both events are lo located at Reformation Lutheran Church: 15750 Magnolia St., Westminster, CA 92683
